Beaumont Inmate Search and Jail Roster
The Beaumont jail roster is the Jefferson County Jail inmate list, maintained by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. Beaumont is the Jefferson County seat and the largest city in Southeast Texas, with a population of about 113,000. When Beaumont police arrest someone, that person is booked and then transferred to the county jail, which is less than a mile from the police station. The inmate search shows current bookings by name, along with charges and bond status. This page explains how to search the roster, who runs the jail, and how to set up automatic custody alerts for Beaumont-area inmates.

Beaumont Police Department
Beaumont PD is the city's main law enforcement agency. Officers handle calls for service, make arrests, and work investigations within city limits. After an arrest, suspects go to the Jefferson County Jail. The city of Beaumont does not operate its own separate detention facility for long-term holds.
To get a police report or records from an incident in Beaumont, contact Beaumont PD and submit a request under the Texas Public Information Act. Government Code Chapter 552 applies. The department must respond in writing within 10 business days. If you are requesting records about an arrest, the police report, booking information, and any related incident documentation are generally public once the investigation closes.
